Visa decisions are made by the Department of Home Affairs, the Minister or a review body, not by us. No one can promise a visa outcome or a processing time, and we have no special relationship with any government body. A granted temporary visa can be affected by later government action, so check before you travel.

Figures and dates

Charges, thresholds and planning levels on this site are taken from official sources and dated. They change, usually on 1 July, and sometimes without much notice. Always confirm the current figure on the official page, such as the Home Affairs Visa Pricing Estimator, before you pay or apply.

Other countries

We are not licensed to advise on Canadian, UK, New Zealand or US immigration. Information about those countries is general and may be incomplete. When you need advice for those countries, we refer you to a professional licensed there, who is responsible for their own advice.
